Sat. March 22 Jim Graham Building at State Fairgrounds, Raleigh NC
Stage Description
The following dance floor layout is provided to assist choreographers to plan their choreography for India Fest performance. Please note that the area marked in RED (in the diagram below) around the perimeter of the stage (approx. 4 ft wide) is not recommended to be used by performers. The RED area is actually not marked on the stage. It is shown in the diagram below to assist choreographers.
The stage floor will be marked with blue masking tape with an L, T or X as indicated below. Please use these markers during your practice sessions to guide your performers to position appropriately. The dance will be marked similarly with the same distance for audition as well.
Please note that you may use up to 4 ft beyond the blue markers, but you don't have to use the entire area covered by blue markers. However, you should make every effort to keep your performance centered and symmetrically spread around the front facing T. For larger groups, you may wish to further divide the stage by using imaginary markers between blue markers to keep your performers evenly spaced.
